Ida
Hi Shar- Hope you are feeling better. I hear the flu is pretty bad this year; and a compromised immune system doesn't help. As for the Lyme Disease- I think the length of time I have not felt well may be one factor in choosing the new treatment. Also, the whites of my eyes become red if I do too much and the lids are swollen. The only thing that has changed after being on the antibiotic is that the "Brain Fog" has lifted. I am more clear headed, but still have aches and pain. The first taper was rough the first week. Everything came back with a vengence. I've adjusted now. I am going to start the next taper when I have nothing planned to do. At this point I don't think a week one way or the other will matter. Actually, it's my sister-in-law. After testing, her doctor said it was not PMR, but RA. Sound familiar? But you're right about families, my brother has an autoimmune disease. I sure hope you will soon feel better. Best wishes for a Happy, Healthy New Year. Ida
