Hi Shar- Great to hear from you. It seems like it is "hit or miss" with some of these drugs. I hope the Kineret will work for you soon. Do you take any pain medication? I take Darvocet in the morning, and maybe one or two later in the day. The mornings are the worst. Actually, I remember feeling better on the higher dose of Prednisone, but that won't do, when we are trying to get off it. I am still struggling with the 7 mg taper. It takes about 5 to 6 days when I realize the taper is not working. My rheumatologist told me to go back one level when that happens- I have been on 7/8 mg twice and still have not been able to stay on the 7mg daily. I may keep trying for longer than the month he advised me to stay on the 7mg. Supposed to be on 6/5 mg by the time I see him again. I'll keep trying. Have a new internist who thinks I do not have Lyme's Disease, and if I ever did, the amount of antibiotics I took from the other doctor surely killed it.
