Hi Ida, It's good to hear from you! I was hoping that you were feeling better. I am improving on the Methotrexate, but I still have the fatigue. I really do need a nap every day! Whenever I don't get that nap, I pay for it the rest of the day. That's how it has been now for the past six or seven months, even though I'm on higher doses of Prednisone than I was last year! I can't understand what is going on, and I don't think my rheumy is entirely sure either. The good news is that the Methotrexate I was recently started on, is working, and it will help me with tapering the Prednisone. I'm still a 10mg dose of Prednisone. The pain and swelling in my one foot has not improved much, but there is still time for the Methotrexate control that too. My doctor said it takes about two months for Methotrexate to work. It's been six weeks since I started it. Now, if something could cure the fatigue! What dose of Prednisone are you on now, Ida? You will be seeing your doctor soon, and I'm eager to hear how that goes. I wonder what he'll say to the idea that PMR changes over the course of the disease. Is the swelling you are experiencing recently, PMR? Let me know how you are doing. It's so good to hear from you! I hope you feel better soon! Shar
