Ida
Hi Shar- Happy New Year. So glad to hear from you, but sorry to hear that you are having more pain and fatigue. Has the 9 mg of Prednisone and increased Mobic made a difference? I hope you are off Methotrexate. I know someone who had a bad reaction to it. My internist wants to put me on an ambulatory IV (shunt in arm for a month or so) for a daily injection of an antibiotic. Before I do that I really need to confirm that I need it. It seems dangerous to me to walk around with an open vein. I have been on antibiotics for Lyme off and on for about two years and alledgely still test positive. With the 8 mg of Prednisone my last sedrate was normal- C-Reactive Protein was high. Anyhow, I feel I need another opinion and am currently researching for a new internist. With the 8 mg of Prednisone prescribed by my rhematologist I do feel a little better- a little less pain and fatigue- although it's still off an on. I guess an auto-immune disease is an ongoing thing. (We do know it's ongoing). I look forward to hearing from you and to hear that you are feeling better. Ida
