Hi Ken, I am so sorry to hear about your experience with PMR and GCA. It must have been very traumatic for you to go through, especially when there was a long delay before you got a diagnosis and treatment. How are you doing now, besides having fatigue and depression? I know how it feels to be fatigued and depressed with this disease. I have good days and bad. I am on 7.5 mg of Prednisone right now, but there are days when I am really tired out and depressed, and I tell myself that it's the PMR, and I just have to roll with it. My doctor has told me that I shouldn't try to push myself to get well, because I am not in control of the disease and I should accept that this is how it is. My pain is down considerably because of the Prednisone doing its job, so I can't complain, but the fatigue is a real downer. Ken, since you are still having a lot of pain, do you think you might need a little more Prednisone? Did you start out on high doses for the GCA? I have read that it normally takes high doses of the steroid to tame it. I am glad you posted, and I hope you will come back here real soon, and let us know more about you and how it's going. I hope you feel much better real soon! Shar
