Hi Ida, How are you? What have you learned from your recent doctor appointment? I hope that things are improving for you. For some, PMR sometimes does not go away, according to my doctor. Although, it could be that your PMR will leave soon. Let us hope and pray that it does. If it's not PMR that you have, I hope the doctors can come up with the right solution soon. It sounds like they are trying very hard to get it resolved, but they aren't sure if it is PMR. I am struggling with tapering my dose of Prednisone. It has been 15 days since I tapered it by 1mg, and I just started having some pain and swelling in my fingers. I am discouraged. I will give this a little longer, and then, I may have to go back up to 15mg on the Prednisone. I hope not. My doctor gave me the 1mg prescription on the Prednisone, and he thought along with me, that tapering very slowly should work now that I am back on Enbrel. The Enbrel has been working well for me, but it seems that I still need a higher dose of Prednisone than I want to be on. It just may take time, and I'll have to be very patient. Please let me know how you are doing. I think of you and hope all will go better for you soon. Take good care. Shar
