Hi Shar- I am so sorry to hear about the RA. PMR is bad enough. But it sounds like your doctor is trying to take care of it in its early stages. My fatigue is worse in the morning, along with soreness and stiffness. I used to be a morning person before all this. My Rheum hasn't said much, but my internist thinks something else might be going on. I do feel the taper, but hope I will adjust to it soon. From what I learned, the weight gain will go away when the Prednisone is stopped. (I have gained 40 pounds.) One doctor told me the weight gain is 90 percent from the Prednisone. It doesn't help the clothes fit better. I am slowly getting a new wardrobe. Please let me know how you are doing. I hope you feel better soon. Have a Happy Easter. Best wishes, Ida
