We had the same problem a year ago. We cut our hair, had the house fumigated, and did the dreadful shampoo every seven days for 2 weeks. Lice is real resilient, and we even used a precribed shampoo. We put all stuffed animals in bags,and put in the sun for 2 weeks. We did this with pillows,etc. We boiled all hair items. Our boy had his head shaved. We put all clothes in the dryer fffon high heat for 60 minutes. Very important to get nits out daily-the shampoo does not kill nits. Good luck!
