Mickie, we have had to suffer through the same dilema with our daughter..the only thing that seemed to get rid of those pesky critters was olive oil...saturate your daughters heads with the oil at bed time. it might be a bit uncomfortable to them, but they must wear a shower cap all night to suffocate the lice. It washes out the next morning with Nutrogena shampoo. Repeat this process every fourth day until all nits are gone. Good luck to you. Suzanne
