I just had my tonsils and adnoids out last week. I am on day 8 today. Finished the liquid pain med now on tabs - Darvocet. Pain (in the back of throat and right ear) is still at a 7+. It doesn't let me sleep. I can talk now but if I do talk alot I do notice more pain. The mucus is awful. Not sure what that is about. My tummy hurts as well. Not really really bad but not a nice experience. My doctor told me yesterday to try to drink more (now he tells me). But good luck to everyone else about to have it done. Helps to have someone taking care of you for sure.
