Fibromyalgia and chronic foot pain

Have they ruled out RSD (Reflex Sympathetic Dystrohy) or CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrom) I developed the symptoms you discribe after an injury to my left hip, and was diagnosised with RSD/CRPS. I had been through the gambit of treatments and medications for the extreme pain and finally resorted to having a SCS Spinal Cord Stimulator Implant, after the symptoms started to go to my right foot. It helps with the burning pain quite well. My leg became discolored, and very cold to the touch, as well as very painful deep bone pain. I suggest you discuss this with your doctor then find yourself a doctor of pain management that treats RSD. There is a window of opertunity after these syptoms start, that with luck and a good doctor it can be treated with medications and physical therapy. Mine unfortunatly went beyond that window and it became chronic, and left me with unbarable pain and lack of mobility on my left foot, with the SCS I am at least comfortable enough to some what function for short periods of time, before I have to elevate my leg. I had never heard of RSD, but trust me I know the pain you are discribing, get to a doctor that is informed about this disease and get the pain under control because it can spread. I wish you luck, feel free to email me if you need any further information on this. God Bless
