Pam
I have fibromyalgia and bunions to deal with. A few months ago I was having a terrible time with my feet and shooting pains even up my legs at times. I first went to visit the podiatrist to make sure that the bunions weren't pinching the nerves, adjusted by shoes, started using more pads, etc in my shoes to make them as comfortable as possible and went to a doctor who did acupuncture for me. He took the book titled "Fibromyalgia and Chronic Myofascial Pain Syndrome" by Starlanyl and Copeland and treated the specific trigger points for the areas that were hurting. It has helped me a lot. Now I occasionally have a bad day, but overall I am feeling a lot better. I don't know if this is any help, as with this condition it seems like different things work well for different folks. I just thought I could share what I had done to see if it gives you any ideas that you haven't already tried. I realized that I really wasn't being careful enough about the shoes I was trying to wear, so I have made sure that any new ones I buy don't cause me pain. I hope you find something that works for you. Hang in there.
