Debby, I am a massage therapist too. What particular things did your therapist do for you? I also had a really bad panic attack begin in 1998 which lasted almost 8 months. It threw my whole body off. Meds did not help much at all. It just took time for all that adrenaline to wear off. Now I get regular massage and practice deep breathing when I begin to feel any anxiety or panic attack. I also hold my belly breath for three or four counts and this seems to slow my pulse down the most.
