I also have panic attacks. My doctor sent me for biofeedback theraphy. It helped. I was also taught the proper breathing relaxation techniques. You have to breath into you stomach and not your chest. To learn this put you hand on your stomach and take a deep breath, causing your stomach to raise up. I had to learn to breath through my stomach as my normal breathing habits. Whenever I feel a panic attack coming on I take deeper breaths until it subcides. It helps to reduce the severity of them. Hope this helps.
