My hubby has IBS...he gets cramps, diarrhea, and is generally miserable when flare ups occur...His doctor just yeaterday put him on PAXIL...an anti depressant that he says helps the IBS. We'll see. he also drinks lots of metamucil and eats a high fiber diet. Hope this helps.
