Hi, I am now taking 0.3 mg/day Synthroid I had the same symptoms: severe depression, hair falling out in chunks (literally), extremely tired, mind foggy, ultra weight gain (60 lbs in 6 mos.) I was told that it would take some time before the medication has a noticeable effect but after seven days I already notice an effect. My father and three sisters all suffer from the same problem.
