I also am young only 26yrs old and have serious hypothyroidism as well as hashimoto's disease. However I am on synthroid to point where I have hit the highest doses and they have began to double my medications. I am tired everyday. I can hardly function some days and get extremely swollen (to the point where my fingers are stiff all day and you can leave indentions in my legs.) So I can understand how you would feel.
