Use Levsin .125 for the spasms and use Nexium for the irritation caused by the problem. You should be relieved of the pain, have normal bowel movements and not have to take any heartburn medicine. Don't use generic or substitute medicine for the ones I've mentioned. The Levsin goes under the tongue and relieves the spasms Good luck.
