If you get to keep your ovaries you will go through a normal menopause. Personally, I have never regretted having a hysterectomy. I had mine last year at age 38 because of the 11 pounds of fibroid tumors in my uterus. I never had the chance to have any children though. If you already have offspring, what could be better than never having to worry about wearing white pants?!! It's worth it. Recovery is a bit slow, but pretty painless. Good luck.
