I am 52,I had a hyst. in 1999,I didn't know one had a choice.I always had hard periods,after 2 child births I figured they would ease up..NOT!! I had my tubes cut & tied, no help!! I was put on the pill for app. 30 yrs...this was a god sent...because I am a smoker the Dr. took me off...and every mo. thereafter it was Hell to pay.The last one I had lasted about 32 days.I heard all kinds of stories all neg. about hyst.including no sex drive.to dryness & ect...for me it was the best damn thing that ever happened!!I enjoy sex (always have)Just wish I had it done when I was 20.Yes,I take premarine 9 mg. a day, but it is sooo worth it!!No muss no fuss..no irrability, back ache,cramps, I was totally sick the wk. before, a wk. after and 10-20 days in between, by then....It was time to start all over again!!
