My 14 yo son had spinal fusion to correct a Kyphosos curve of 103 degrees on 4/10. He was corrected to 50 degrees. He is now 2 1/2 inches taller. Two weeks later he is is without pain. His only difficulty is dealing with a cast around his chest area he must wear for 6-8 weeks. Other than the annoyance on the cast he is feeling great. I would recommend Dr. James Bowen at DuPont Hospital in Wilmington DE. He is a masterfull surgeon and a terrific person to go along with his surgical skills.
