First of all I'd like to thank everyone who has responded to my message. I haven't been checking because I didn't think that I would get any responses. I had to have a second back surgrey because i got a staph infection in result from my first surgrey. After four months the rods in my back unhooked and I had to have another one to correct that....I was on a PICC line with anitbiotics for 2 months and now am taking anitbiotics orally for the past 5. I need to have a second surgrey in order to take the rods out. It scares me sooo much. Sometimes I question as to whether or not it was worht it but when I look in the mirror and see the correction I smile and think despite everything I've been through no one can ever call me those horrible names again. I think that anyone who has been through this or is about to go through this needs to think about whats important and research all the options. Thank you for all your responses and keep them coming...it gives me hope to know that there are other people out there. Thank you!
