If your surgery is done by a "COMPETENT" surgeon...one should NOT have to learn to stand, walk, etc. straight. Physical therapy should be ordered to allow re-strengthing of the surgical site/s.....ONLY> If you have to learn to do all the things you did before, other than from weakening from the surgery.....you have a poor practioner!
