I have a disc abutted (protruding) into the spinal cord at the T1-T2 and also T5-T6 area but specifically herniated at the T1-T2 area. The doctor and also my husband can push on this specific area on my back and it is very painful. also, I have spinal nerves that are being affected with weird symptoms that run from the affected discs down to my left toes...burning, prickling, pin/needles, temp.problems and inflammation problems coming off of the discs. YES, I very most definitely believe that this area is painful...anything that is pushing INTO the spinal cord is going to cause pain and discomfort...my doctors will not deny that.
