Hi there! I also have spinal problems--six herniated disks throughout the whole spine. My MRI also showed a condition called cervical spinal stenosis (narrowing of the spine). The docs said that my MRI looked so bad, they would have done surgery right away, but I wasn't showing signs of pain or discomfort, so now I'm trying to do stengthening exercises and lose weight. It's hard, and I'm not doing a very good job of it. As a result, I'm starting to feel more pain and discomfort. So, it might mean surgery. Bummer. I would suggest you talk to your docs about spinal stenosis. It is a degenerative arthritic condition that there is no cure for, other than surgery. Let's put it this way...my MRI about 5 years ago indicated I had only 2 herniated discs; today, I have 6. If I can be of any help, feel free to contact me. Good luck!
