Jill, it sounds like you are experiencing the same thing I'm going through. I have two bad discs,L5S1-L4-5. The pain has become so bad I'm now out of work. It all started in Dec.99, went out of work in July. Pain just got too bad. My pain starts in my lower back through both hips. I was able to get a discogram done in Annapolis MD. by Dr. Eckle. Dr. Thompson can also do it. These guys also do IDET therapy, which I had done. This didn't help. The discogram did at the time confirm that pain was coming from both discs. The worst being L5S1. My doctors seem to still be overlooking this. I think it is just a big money thing with them! They almost try to overlook the obvious for some reason. Every person is built different experiencing different symptoms. I believe that if that is all they can find after a year and a half than maybe thats all thats there. It gets to the point that after seeing so many different doctors they do lose sight of the problem at hand- every single doctor has a different opinion.
