amy
i know what you are going through . i have been to 7 different er visits this year due to irregular heartbeat and palpitations due to mvp. they hit when i least expect it i am so scared when it happens i am so convinced my number is up.they always send me home with a pat on the head and lots of reassurance which is fine until my next attack. i have been on 25mgs of atenolol for the past 2 months now and my heart rarely acts up and when it does it doesnt last over a minute or two ,unlike before.if you are not on any medication for this then maybe you should be.although this is more aggravating than life threatening,if you could control your irregular heartbeat through meds and eliminate caffeine and sugar and oh yea stress . then i just about guarantee you will begin to feel a whole lot better. god bless you and i wish you the best of luck.
