Having worked with dementia clients for several years, I can recommend that you find out specifically what the cause of the dementia is, such as Altzheimer's, Diffuse Lewey Body disease or one of several other types. A local aging services provider could also recommend dementia support groups and resources. There are support groups and resources on line through the Alzheimer's Association which deals with other types of dementia as well. there is a study out of England called the "Clive Project " that specifically deals with younger onset of dementia. There is also a book available through amazon.com that deals with younger onset dementia. Good luck.
