My father is 48 years old and has been diagnosed with dementia. I am only 23 and my brother is 27. He has just been put on long-term disability and his doctor has suggested that he not live alone anymore. Neither my brother or I live in the same town as my father. This information has taken us by such surprise, we do not what to do. I do not know where to find anymore info or support groups to help my father. My main concern is him not working and his mind getting worse. If anyone has some information that could help me and my family through this horrible diagnosis, it would be greatly appreciated.
