I'm not sure about Lupus, I have MS and I get Disability, I do know you have to be out of work for 18 month before you can collect and then it takes about a year to go through the process. This would mean for you at least 30 months without income. I know about chronic pain and there is not any reason that you shouldn't be able to get it, It's just the 30 months waiting period. They do pay you back from the time you first apply,but that doesn't help your income at this time. Good Luck and best wishes to you.
