Girl, I know exactly what you mean. I'm 31yrs old and I have had lupus-sle for 8 yrs and it's getting worst. People always say girl you look good well thats nice because feel like ---- on the inside and I hurt like hell all the time. And don't let anybody tell you that you are depressed or that it's all in your mind because family well they get tried but they won't tell you but you know. And doctors just want to get paid and they don't want to tell you that they can't help because you won't come back and they won't get paided. And to your question yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, you can get s.s.i.. Now you have to put up a good fight and maybe get you a lawyers but in the long run you will get your s.s.i.. It's hard. But it may be easyer by now. Also social services can help dependimg on how much money you get from s.s.i.. S.S.I, will give you medicare, and social services will give you medicaid and with these two insurances you won't have out of the pocket exspences. And remember this if you medicaid get straight medicaid because this way you won't have to get referrals to see the doctor when you need too, but you will have to pay one dollar for each prescription.
