Laura O
Laura P., it was so good to hear from you again! As always, thank you for your care and concern. I am going to try the "blue stuff". My mom has some sample packets that came with hers when she ordered a jar. She is giving them to me so I can try it before I buy it. :) Also, I have a question...what is RSD? I will see the dr. in less than a month now and I want to be prepared. I am a little scared of what an MRI of my low back will show. I have heard some bad things about surgery to the low back area. But, if that is my only alternative to being stuck in this condition, half numb, unsteady and skin that feels irritated to the touch, then so be it I guess. I came through this one pretty much intact. As for SS, the waiting is the hardest part. So far, finances are not an issue, but I do worry that they could be. I have read some people's posts about SS on a site I found, stating that it took 2 years or so before some were approved. Some people ended up filing bankruptcy before it was all over with because it took so long to get approved, and they couldn't work, that they were facing losing everything. I have only been waiting 5 months so far. No need worrying myself though, that's what the attorney is for, right? He told me he doesn't take on cases that don't have a chance of approval. In the meantime, my husband has gotten a better job. He hopes to be able to support us so that no matter what happens with me, we can still pay the bills. I will keep my faith, that all will work out as it is intended to be. Hope you had a happy holiday season! Take care & post when you can.
