I have PMR and take Prednisone but have not had sores in my mouth. I do bruise and bleed easily on my arms. I also have been having a lot of itching on arms, legs, and chest. Not sure if that is related. I get down to 5 mg and usually have to go back up to 5 1/2-6 mg. Have been taking Prednisone for 2 years now. The pain has lessened but am not totally pain free. BE CAREFUL because Prednisone can mask other problems in your body because it makes you feel good. (pneumonia, etc.)
