I'm so sorry that you are down with the aches and fatigue of what your doctor says may be Polymyalgia. I have it too, and it is a bit tricky to diagnose. My rheumatologist ran about 20 tests to confirm what he suspected was Polymyalgia and I was put on 20 mg of Prednisone right away. It helped in forming the diagnosis too, because Polymyalgia responds very quickly to low doses of Prednisone, and mine did. Within 2 days of starting the Prednisone, I was 85% better! That was just over a year ago. I am now on 7.5 mg of Prednisone and I'm doing well. I wish you the best of luck and I hope you are feeling better very soon! Shar
