I got mono after my son was born. When he was year old I got this “flue” that didn’t go away. My doctor had the blood test done in a special laboratory that deals with viruses. He said that they don’t like to do this test because it’s expensive, but he believed it was worth it. It came back positive with Epstein barr. He got some info about it for me, which made it clear that there was no cure. I continued to feel sick on and off, and when my son was three I also started to get tendonitis for no reason, and was finally diagnosed with fibromyalgia, and couple of years later with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I know how very difficult it is to live with this, especially when you have young children. There is no treatment, and people with CFS are usually sensitive to prescription drugs. But living a healthy life style, good healthy diet and natural supplements helped many people. There are books available now that can give you some idea and guidance. Good luck, hope this helps.
