Hi. You say that you have diagnosed yourself with planta faciitis. I thought I had too through looking up my symptoms on the net. You need to go to a podiatrist (look in your local yellow pages or whatever colour they may be in the Us!) and find one. He told me I had actually ruptured part of my achilles heel through walking to many hours after I had been resting up in bed for a long time. I think that is more likely in your case. I had a course of ten laser treatments lasting 10 mins each and it has healed and I am fine! Self diagnosis does no necessarily have to be the right thing in this case. An unknow arthritic conditon in your foot may also be making this worse and you need to get proper help in diagnostics. Laser is a wonderful thing and they use it at the sports clinic at Addenbrooks Hospital attached to Cambridge University here in England. Before one would have to have a big splint or bandae and rst up for weeks. Good luck!
