Having had plantar facitis for several years, I tried everything. Cortizone injections in the heel may work, but I don't advise it, as it turns tissue into cartilage. I only learned that after three injections! Mine was cured by a two-fold treatment - at the homeopathic hospital in London I was treated with marigold treatment, which within the first week got rid of the pain, though I was treated for three weeks. Immediately after that I was given a custom-made orthotic device to wear in my shoes. I have no pain whatsoever now and can walk for miles with no pain - and none when I get up in the morning either.
