I have been suffering from chronic vaginal yeast for about 8 years. I've read THE YEAST CONNECTION and it was a relief to know that I wasn't crazy. I also read THE MISSING DIAGNOSIS by Dr. C.Orian Truss. I've discovered that tea tree oil helps the symptoms. I've also been in touch with someone who has a website selling essential oils(like tea tree). She also was plagued by this. She recommended chelation therapy(IV administered). I've done years of research on this and learned enough that my Dr asks me things about it! I've tried OTC creams, Diflucan, Lamisil, nystatin, nizoril, you name it! They all worked the first time but when it would go away and I stopped what I was taking, the yeast returned a few weeks later. It mutates and becomes resistant to anything that worked previously. I've even went the naturopathic route. The best thing is diet control. I can do that for a while but then the sugar craving overtakes me and I'm back to square one. I have been on antidepressants for the past 2 years... there are many days when I don't think I can make it through another day. If anyone has anymore info...I'm listening. Thanks for hearing me out.
