I hope I may be some help to you. I know it is expensive, unless you have insurance, but you may need an M.R.I. x-rays regular ones do not show up everything. I had more than to find out the problem in my right arm, it could be neck and upper spine problem pressing on nerves and physical therapy can help. I went through 6 months of bad upper arm pain, I finally got a shot in the deltoid area of the arm (cortizsone) and made the pain go away and the swelling I was having also in my fingers. I still can not move my arm up to where it is supposed to go, but I know I need to go to therapy for that.Hope I have been of some help.I don't know what your surgery could have to do with it though
