I went for 6 months with rt. arm pain, and I know it isn't pleasant. I don't know why the surgery would have anything to do with it, but I don't know everything. I would suggest you have an M.R.I. and get to the problem, could be a neck and spine problem, something pressing on the nerves to give you arm pain, sometimes that happens. I needed a cortozone shot in the deltoid area of my arm and helped, but I also need therapy because I can't raise my arm completely up, i have neck and upper spine problems also, which could cause that.
