I went through all the non-invasive procedures, physical therphy, traction, shots with no avail. I am now booked for surgery on the 6th of November. I am a bit nervous but I can not stand living with the pain any longer. With all the posts I have read in the past months it seems to me that a lot of people get great results with the surgery. I'm having an anterior cervical disctocomy with bak fusion with is a cage device inserted in the neck to hold the disc apart. This procedure does not require taking bone from my hip. Can anyone tell me about the recouperation time? How is the pain after surgery? I will be wearing a hard collar for 6 weeks post surgery. Any info would be most appreciated.
