My herniation is my neck a large one that protrudes on the left side but most of my symptoms are on my right side, arm. My hand and two fingers get tingly and numb. It is unusual but I wanted to share with you that it does happen. The doctor just advised my that my last resort is surgery. I had all the tests, MRI, myleogram, ct scan, cortisone injections with no avail, as well as physical theraphy, home traction. I'm really considering the surgery since I have been in pain for over 6 months and I am at my last straw. The only drawback is that I would be in a hard brace for 6 weeks following the surgery.
