I ALSO HAD A FALLING UTERUS. THE FIRST SYMPTOMS I CAN REMEMBER WERE THE LOWER BACK PAIN AND THE SYMPTOM YOU MENTIONED. MY DOCTOR TOLD ME I SHOULD HAVE A HYSTERECTOMY BUT SINCE I WAS ONLY ABOUT 33 YEARS OLD I DID NOT WANT ONE. HE TOLD ME I WOULD EVENTUALLY SOON BE BACK IN HIS OFFICE BEGGING FOR THE SURGERY. HE WAS CORRECT. I STARTED HAVING PERIODS LIKE NONE I HAD EVER HAD BEFORE. I WOULD FLOOD WHEN I HAD A PERIOD. PRIOR TO THIS I HAD NEVER HAD A CRAMP OR ANY PROBLEMS. I HAD TO EVENTUALLY USE TWO TAMPONS AT A TIME AND I HAD TO CHANGE OFTEN. FINALLY, I WENT BACK TO SEE THE DOCTOR AND HAD THE SURGERY AND NOW I WONDER WHY I WAITED SO LONG TO HAVE IT DONE. AFTER THE SIX MONTHS IT TAKES TO COMPLETELY RECOVER NOW I AM ENJOYING LIFE AND ONLY WISH I HAD HAD THE SURGERY SOONER. GOOD LUCK TO YOU AND DON'T SUFFER. THERE IS NO NEED TO. GET A SECOND OPINION IF THAT WILL EASE YOUR MIND.
