Thay are right, the Spinal cord stimulator is a temp fix. I had one put in and it kept shorting out which meant another greuling surgery or the stimulation would change and go to the other leg which also meant another surgery. After 8 revisal surgeries I had it removed. What a mess. I have had the morphine implant in now since March'99 and so far it is the best at controling my pain. It is not really controled unless I don't move at all and keep my legs above my heart level. Implants are really risky for RSD but sometimes you have to really look at yourself and see if the risk is worth it. My body is still getting used to this foriegn body. I am sorry there are no easy answers but I wish you good luck and God Bless. Julia
