I have had RSD for 5 years now. I noticed in my case it is very much set off by indulging in Cokes and Coffee along certain types of junk foods. Stress is also a huge factor as well as menstral cycles. I found that keeping a log book of what I take in,logging the time and level of pain, what activities I did and what reaction the RSD had to it, helped me manage the pain better. Good Luck!
