I also have arthritis, and it is not a pretty picture. I tryly can sympathise with you. I have suffered with this pain for years now. I have severe neck, shoulder and knee pain constantly along with swelling at times. I am currently taking Celebrex 200mg. It seems to be the only medication that gives me some relief. Also for my neck and shoulder pain I use a device called a " Tens Unit " It works exactly like an Ultra Sound. It operates by battery and it sends sonic shock waves to the nerve that is associated with the pain. It helps to relax the joints that are causing the pain.
