I was dx'd with rosacea a few years ago. The sx were severe redness/flushing and "burning pain" on my face. The first few weeks I was treated with Metrocreme and antibiotics (neither really helped)Then the Dermatologist (I hope you saw one, or did you see a someone in General practice ?)suggested stopping the antibiotic, since there were no erruptions/acne, and put me on a medication that reduced the "flushing" (as well as my Blood Pressure). I try to avoid very warm environments, too hot baths, alcohol, and found it better to omit some spicey foods. These I found were "triggers". Getting stressed out and nervous also starts the cycle (I do my best there) Please follow through with a dermatologist and STAY AWAY FROM HYDRO-CORTISONE (prolonged use causes your skin to become paper thin). You can email me.
