My husband and I adopted our grandson when he was 5 months old. At age 3 he was diagnosed with ADHD, Oppositional Defiance, and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. We have had him tested by 4 different doctors (wanting it to not be true of course). He has been on medication for several years now with some success, but he is now 11 and fast approaching puberty. He is failing in school this year and we are at a loss as what to do. Since school started in August we have had two hour nightly sessions with homework. He has a math tudor and yet we cant get him to apply himself or care that he is failing. Our doctor has suggested putting him in a good school away from home to try and reach him. can anyone refer us to a good one.
