Hi, How scary for you to have to go through twice. Drs don't know enough to say that noone reacts to a particular thing.That is a very foolish statement. I've been to drs who will readily admit there is so much they still don't know.Try a new dr maybe or just continue to avoid salads at all cost. I'd like to know more specifically all the ingredients of those salads and narrow it down. I react to even a bite of Romaine sp? lettuce. My lips swell. Good luck and take care, Lee
