Hello: Lyme disease testing has come a long way over the years, however so has the testing for MS. You are correct in that there are many similarities between the both, however look up menopause as these symptoms are also like MS. I have MS for over 27 years and I must say I am lucky. I eat sleep and think MS daily as I speak to many newly diagnosed persons through my society and my doctors in my area. I am lucky in that I have a mild case and much sensory issues but I walk unaided and positively ambulatory. I work diligent doing my two mile trek daily and I must say I was correct in my thoughts years prior that physical therapy helps in the treatment of MS. NO Cure, however a definite push and helps regain some strength. This is a commitment that many are not likely to make but in my case the word No was not found. IF there are any other issues where I could be of assistance, please write. Today I am speaking at a New York Nursing home on healthcare issues and research to assure my peers that MS research is never done. Good Luck. Nygabnet
